Sizing – Built to Suit
In general, our round cedar tubs are best for larger, multi-person applications. They can be built up to 8 feet in diameter and can have seating inside for up to 8 people. Our cedar oval tubs and our steel stock tubs are more suitable for 1 or 2 people. They are narrower than our round tubs but can still be ordered up to 8 feet long.

Colouring – Eastern White Cedar
“Eastern White cedar”, is very common in southern Ontario and northern Ontario up as high as James Bay. It grows mainly in rocky and wet areas. A mature sized tree can grow roughly up to 50 feet tall. Its natural oils protect it against mold, variation of temperature, moisture and insects. The protective oils have made the Eastern White Cedar useful in lumber production for centuries, and makes it ideally suited for exterior uses such as houseboats, decks, siding, posts, fencing, shingles, shakes and of course our most popular hot tub. The darker ring of the White cedar is called heartwood. This is the ideal part of the tree, prized mostly for its strength. It is an attractive wood, with a spicy aroma, and great variations in grain and patterns. It is neutral in color, which makes it easier for staining or paint.
It is one of the lightest Canadian wood species, making it easy to carry and handle, and has an excellent R-value compared to the red cedar and even pine.
