PAYMENT
Payment for tub packages can be made in full or with a 50% deposit. If a deposit is submitted, the balance of the payment will be due just prior to shipping. We will send an invoice for the remaining payment once the tub is ready to leave our premises.
All payments are refundable for 1 week after the initial payment is made, minus a $500 administration fee to cover expenses incurred processing your payment and preparing your hot tub order. As we know you appreciate the work that goes into preparing a hand-made tub, any payment will become entirely non-refundable after 1 week.
SHIPPING
Shipping to addresses in close proximity to the National Capital area is provided at no additional charge to local customers.
For locations outside our local delivery area, we will communicate shipping fees to you by email once we have received your order. Once confirmed by the customer, shipping fees will be due once the hot tub is ready to leave the premises. If you have paid a deposit on your hot tub, the balance of your payment will also be due at this time.
Shipping fees for delivery outside Canada will also be communicated after we receive your order. Tariffs and other cross-border costs will be calculated at that time as well. We will reach out to inform you of the shipping fee breakdown prior to shipping, to get consent before preparing the final invoice.

MANUFACTURING WARRANTY
Wakefield Wood Tubs offers a 3 year manufacturer warranty on all wooden products:
- Wakefield Wood Tubs warrants our wood products to the original end user, to be free from defects in material (small knots and minor wood movement are not counted as defects) and workmanship, under normal usage, for a period of 3 years (36 months) from the date of manufacturing.
- Such limited warranty does not cover damages caused by animals, fire, cold or ice, vandalism, excessive chemicals, improper installation and strain, abuse or abrasion, acts of God or use for purposes other than that for which the product was designed.
- Ordinary wear and tear or improper installation are not considered to be a warrantable defect.
- Any expressed or implied warranty is limited in duration to 3 years (36 months) from the date of manufacturing to the original end user.
- Wakefield Wood Tubs shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
- Any wood product deemed by WWT to have failed due to defects in either materials or workmanship within 3 years (36 months) of purchase, will be replaced, at our option, without charge for labour or materials (excludes cost of freight FOB Ottawa, Ontario).
EQUIPMENT WARRANTY
Wakefield Wood Tubs offers a 1 year equipment warranty on all heating and circulation equipment:
- Wakefield Wood Tubs warrants our equipment to the original end user, to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal usage, for a period of 1 year (12 months) from the date of manufacturing to the original end user.
- Such limited warranty does not cover damages caused by animals, fire, ice, snow, excessive cold, vandalism, excessive chemicals, improper installation and strain, abuse or abrasion, acts of God or use for purposes other than that for which the equipment was designed.
- Ordinary wear and tear or improper installation are not considered to be a warrantable defect.
- Any expressed or implied warranty is limited in duration to 1 year (12 months) from the date of manufacturing to the original end user.
- Wakefield Wood Tubs shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
- Any equipment deemed by Wakefield Wood Tubs to have failed due to defects in equipment within 1 year (12 months) from date of purchase will be repaired or replaced, at our option, without charge for materials or labour (excludes cost of freight FOB Ottawa, Ontario).
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
OUR WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER IMPROPER USE OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Equipment has been subjected to alteration, misuse, abuse, or if any repairs on the product are attempted by anyone other than our authorized representatives, unless express written approval is given.
- Damage due to excessive use of chemicals in water or contact with other chemicals on the equipment.
- Fading of colour is not considered a defect and will naturally occur due to normal exposure to the elements and aging.
- Damage caused by improper installation or during transportation from the dealer to purchaser.
- Any damage resulting from any misuse, abuse, negligence, acts of God, accident or alteration, (i.e. cover lifts, animals and excessive weight, ice, snow, cold or wind).
Implied Warranties: The only express warranties are set herein and any implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purchase, are limited in duration to that of the expressed warranties. This warranty does not cover consequential damages or incidental damages including damage to property or injury arising for the use or inability to use this product.
Having specified all warranty conditions, please keep in mind that we at Wakefield Wood Tubs want to serve our customers well and are always a phone call or email away should you have an issue or are unable to fully enjoy your WWT product.
CUSTOMIZATION OF TUB PACKAGES
If you’d like to add or change any custom features to your hot tub, we can discuss the details together and price your custom requirements. We will send a detailed quote, with modified information about the tub you requested.
ASSEMBLY SUPPORT
Ask us about possible on-site assembly options, including assistance in locating a qualified carpenter or contractor (for assembly and installation) as well as assistance in working out delivery cost and logistics.
We can offer electrical load requirements for your spa control. Freeze protection concerns can be addressed, along with hybrid heating options.
